To my darling Kendall Joy Ellis on your 5th Birthday,
I cannot believe you are five years old! It seems like just yesterday that I anxiously awaited your birth, praying that the ultra sounds were correct and that you really were a little girl. It seemed too good to be true, I had waited so long for a baby girl and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how beautiful you were. Watching you grow up is a true joy in my life. I love to listen to you sing along with the radio, and watch you dance to any and all music that you hear. I am thankful for your helpful heart and pray that you will find delight in serving others with your kindness. I am glad to see how well you get along with your brothers, I pray that your sibling relationship would always be strong and that you would remain close as your grow older. I enjoy the quiet of your gentle spirit, and pray that your shyness would not stop you from doing anything that you desire. Thank you for being my daughter. Thank you for helping me grow my patience and creative side. Thank you for allowing me to love you as only a mommy can.
